Nearly 120,000 people in HK register online for COVID-19 testing

Registration for COVID-19 free testing for all residents of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) opened on Saturday morning and nearly 120,000 people had signed up by midday local time.

Mass screening will begin from September 1 and the region aims to complete the process within two weeks in an effort to bring the severe epidemic situation under control, Chief Executive Carrie Lam told reporters on August 21.
