China issued on Friday a revised list of export bans and restrictions on some technologies. Twenty-three items were added, while the technical parameters of a further 21 were changed. The new regulations cover computing and data-processing technologies, such as text analysis, speech modeling, and voice recognition. The revision also removes four items prohibited from export, including microbial fertilizing and caffeine production technologies.
