Hong Kong's mass COVID-19 screening receives over 310,000 reservations

Over 310,000 people in China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) have submitted online reservations for the city's mass COVID-19 screening as of 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, the local health authority said.

Sophia Chan, secretary for Food and Health of the HKSAR, urged residents to sign up for the screening early as first-day availability has run out at some testing sites.

The Asian financial hub's mass coronavirus testing is due to start on September 1.
