Patrollers at the Tianbaoyan National Nature Reserve recently found an endangered species of butterfly – the golden Kaiser-i-Hind. It is a rare species native to China and is the only butterfly species under first-class state protection in China. The last recorded sighting of the butterfly in the area was in the 1980s.
