A total of 14 people have been arrested on charges including unlawful assembly, disorder in public places and assaulting a police officer in Mongkok and Prince Edward on Monday, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) said on social media.

In addition, another 37 people were ticketed for breaching the Prevention and Control of Disease (Prohibition on Group Gathering) Regulation, the Prevention and Control of Disease (Wearing of Mask) Regulation and the Fixed Penalty (Public Cleanliness and Obstruction) Ordinance amid COVID-19 outbreak in the city, according to the police.

The police reiterated that they have zero tolerance towards any illegal acts and we will take enforcement action accordingly.
