M5.6 quake hits near Palana, Russia: USGS

A 5.6-magnitude earthquake was recorded 69 km SW of Palana, Russia, at 0051 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said. 

The epicenter was recorded at a depth of 10 km, USGS said.
