Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, moving from on-site to online has become a trend to the conference and exhibition industry.

The 2020 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) will be held in early September in Beijing. This year, the fair will present more diversified programs and services compared with the previous sessions as it has integrated contents of China (Beijing) International Cultural & Creative Industry Expo (ICCIE), China International Tourism Commodities Fair (CITCF), Beijing International Finance Expo (BIFE), World Winter Sports (Beijing) Expo as well as World Robot Conference (WRC) to create a new model that features various exhibition themes.

Unable to attend the fair in person doesn't mean you'll be an outsider. This year, CIFTIS uses 3D virtual booths to demonstrate products and technologies from various industries include 5G, online education and winter sports. Besides online exhibitions, exhibitors can also match with potential customers through big data and artificial intelligence (AI). Services like private negotiation, live broadcasting and electronic contract will also assist exhibitors at the fair.

Forums during CIFTIS will be held both online and offline, which allows speakers and audiences to be involved from another side of the globe. The fair also provides AI translation for online forums and meetings.

CIFTIS released its official app in June, audiences and exhibitors can experience functions like online exhibitions, online meetings and intelligent matching through the app.
