Serling Tso Lake is on the south of the Qiangtang Plateau, which is the name for the northern Tibet Plateau in southwestern China's Tibet Autonomous Region. Its area is 1,640 square kilometers and it is both the largest lake in Tibet and the second-biggest saltwater lake in China.
