First intl. flight arrives in Beijing after resumption of direct inbound flights
Beijing welcomed the first international flight after the city gradually resumed direct inbound flights on Thursday from eight countries, including Cambodia, Greece, Denmark, Thailand, Austria, and Canada.
The flight from Phnom Penh arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport at 6:57 a.m. BJT, Thursday, according to the China Civil Aviation Administration.
Officials said priority will be given to flights from countries with low risk of cross-border infection, where nucleic acid tests have been conducted.
Negative COVID-19 test results before boarding are a prerequisite for passengers of Beijing-bound flights.
