Some Mongolian racerunners, a small lizard species, were spotted on Tuesday in a mountain in western Beijing. 

The reptile mainly lives in East Asia. Known as Eremias argus in Latin, it originates in the mythological Greek giant Argus, who had many eyes, since it is adorned with eye-like dots.
