Jade, carved into different shapes, with its unique textures and colors, has long been considered part of Chinese culture. It is regarded as one of the most precious commodities, and the value of good-quality jade is way higher than that of gold. Historically, a great number of people have gathered in Hotan for its jade, but production has dwindled recently.
