Chinese President Xi Jinping will deliver a speech at the 2020 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) on Friday, announced China's Foreign Ministry on Thursday.

The CIFTIS will be held from September 4 to 9 in Beijing.

It is one of China's three leading exhibition platforms for China's opening-up, along with the China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) and the China International Import Expo (CIIE).

This year's event has become especially significant as it will be China's first major exhibition at a national level to be held offline since the COVID-19 outbreak.
