Hong Kong reports 12 new COVID-19 cases

China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region reported 12 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, including seven local transmissions, according to the region's Center for Health Protection.

As of Friday noon about 922,000 residents have booked in for the mass virus testing in the region.

Around 521,000 samples have been collected for COVID-19 tests as of Friday morning, of which 208,000 have been tested.
