India has become the third country in the world to pass four million coronavirus infections. It set a new record daily surge over 86,000 in cases on Saturday as the crisis shows no sign of peaking. The country has the fastest growing number of diagnoses at more than 80,000 per day and the highest daily death toll at over 1,000. The caseload has gone from three to four million in less than two weeks, faster than the United States and Brazil.
