Russia registered 5,205 new cases in the past 24 hours, bringing its caseload to 1,020,310. Meanwhile, 110 new deaths were reported, bringing the death toll to 17,759.

Uzbekistan reported 266 new cases with five more deaths in the past 24 hours, total at 43,169 confirmed cases with 341 deaths. The country has allowed restaurants, cultural entertainment, amusement parks, and religious places to resume business from Saturday under restrictions with the epidemic prevention regulations.

The Czech Republic recorded 798 new cases, and the number of new cases in a single day set a new record for three consecutive days from Wednesday. The total number of confirmed cases reached 27,249, with 429 deaths and 19,027 cured cases, respectively. Mandatory face mask orders resumed in some public places nationwide on Tuesday.

Ukraine confirmed 2,836 new cases and 50 new deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 133,787 and 2,811 deaths. Cabinet decided on 26 August to extend the measures of adaptive isolation until the end of October, which divides the country's territory into red, orange, yellow, and green regions according to the growth of new cases in each region.

Iran reported 1,894 new cases with 110 new deaths, raising the total number of confirmed cases to 384,666, of which 22,154 have died. As of Friday, Iran had conducted 3355,152 nucleic acid tests.
