Nearly 150 new homes have been built for poor households in Sanhe Village in southwest China's Sichuan Province. Sanhe Village is a deeply impoverished village inhabited by the Yi ethnic group. Before 2019, 90 percent of the villagers lived in simple low adobe houses.
