Founded in October 15, 1821, situated in the very center of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, the National Museum of Slovenia is the country's oldest cultural institution with a rich collection of archaeological artifacts, numismatic and graphic collection, and displays related to the applied arts.

The presentation is part of a special project – Treasure Hunt Relay: Global Museum Director's Choice, initiated by the National Museum of China and dedicated to presenting humanity's iconic cultural treasures. Directors from 16 museums across five continents of the world are expected to introduce museum institutions' history and amazing collections.
