Live: The cultural treasures of the State Historical Museum of Russia

Established in 1872, the State Historical Museum in Moscow's Red Square is one of Russia's most famous and important museums. It underwent 11 years of renovation between 1986 and 1997, which restored its original 19th-century appearance.

The presentation is part of a special project called the Treasure Hunt Relay: Global Museum Director's Choice. It is initiated by the National Museum of China and is dedicated to presenting humanity's iconic cultural treasures. Directors from 16 museums across five continents are expected to introduce their institutions' history and amazing collections.
