Number of asymptomatic and confirmed COVID-19 cases down to zero in Xinjiang
The number of asymptomatic COVID-19 cases fell to zero in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on Monday, according to local health authorities.
The development comes at a time when the last three patients in the capital city of Urumqi were discharged from hospital and one asymptomatic patient has also been released from medical observation.
A total of 1,064 confirmed cases were reported in Xinjiang since July 15, of which 826 patients were discharged from hospital, and 238 asymptomatic patients were released from medical observation.
