On January 24, 2020, the contact information of more than 2,000 community leaders in Wuhan was posted in resident WeChat groups. On the same day, the Wuhan COVID-19 prevention command headquarters issued a notice, requiring all communities to introduce comprehensive screening of anyone with a fever. Community workers in Wuhan were under enormous pressure.
