China is commending role models in the country's fight against the COVID-19 epidemic with an awards ceremony in Beijing today.

- The ceremony has started at 10 a.m. at the Great Hall of the People.

- Exemplary individuals and groups, as well as outstanding Party members and Party groups will be honored.

- Among today's recipients are one with China's top national medal and three with honorary title "the People's Hero."
