Hong Kong reports 12 new COVID-19 cases

China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region reported 12 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, including five local transmissions and seven from overseas, according to the region's Center for Health Protection (CHP).

Two of the 12 new cases were detected from the region's universal coronavirus testing program, said CHP official Chuang Shuk-kwan at a press conference.
