Hemu Village is under the jurisdiction of Burqin County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is located by Kanas Lake, and is home to many Tuva people. Hemu village is the farthest and largest of the three remaining Tuva villages (Hemu Village, Kanas Village and Baihaba Village), with a total area of 3,040 square kilometers.
