Hong Kong reports 12 new COVID-19 cases

China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region reported 12 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, including three local transmissions and nine from overseas, according to the region's Centre for Health Protection (CHP).

The CHP said two of the 12 new cases were detected via the region's universal coronavirus testing program.

The total number of confirmed cases in the region stands at 4,925 and the death toll at 99.
