Wildfires that have forced thousands of people to evacuate across Oregon have also left animals injured and displaced. Nearly a dozen cats are being treated by veterinary staff at the Southern Oregon Veterinary Specialty Center. People are leaving piles of pet food throughout neighborhoods devastated by flames. More than 40,000 people have been evacuated and about 500,000 are in different levels of evacuation zones.
