Over 1.7 million residents tested under HK's universal testing program
More than 1.7 million residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) have been tested under the city's universal COVID-19 community testing program, the government said on Sunday.
On the 13th day of the mass COVID-19 screening, 53,000 people visited testing centers across the city to have their specimens collected.
As of 8 p.m. on Sunday, the program has finished testing about 1,667,000 collected specimens, the government said.
The program will end its run on Monday after being extended twice.
