28th Chinese medical aid team leaves Beijing for Guinea

A Chinese medical aid team left Beijing for Guinea on Tuesday to help improve healthcare services in the country. The 21-member team – the 28th sent by the Chinese government to the West African nation – will spend 18 months there, mostly working at the China-Guinea Friendship Hospital. The team comprises specialists in such fields as rehabilitation, neurosurgery, neurology, cardiovascular disease and radiology. China had sent a total of 661 medical personnel to the country, in seven previous medical aid missions.
