Recently, the maple leaves in Yangzhou City of east China's Jiangsu Province seemed to feel the autumn breath in the cool wind, and turned a bright red color. On September 15, after autumn began, the red maple leaves in Geyuan Garden began to change colors. 

The time for maple leaves turning red depends on the latitude of the location. Usually, maple leaves in northern parts of the world will turn red earlier than the southern areas as the weather turns colder more quickly in the north.
