Hong Kong opens bars, pools and theme parks after mass testing ends

In Hong Kong, bars, swimming pools and theme parks have reopened, as coronavirus cases drop. Pools are required to operate at half capacity while dining outlets need to close by midnight. The loosening of restrictions came after the completion of a city-wide mass testing program. Over 1.8 million people, about a quarter of Hong Kong's population, were screened. Forty-two infections were found, including five cases through contact-tracing. The ban on visits to public beaches and gatherings of more than four people remain in place.
