The U.S. Department of Commerce has issued an order banning transactions with WeChat and TikTok – starting Sunday. It comes amid a technology dispute between the two countries. President Donald Trump is expected to announce on Friday whether or not his administration will approve a partnership deal between TikTok's parent company, ByteDance, and Oracle. He had threatened to ban the video-sharing app unless its U.S. operations are sold to an American company.
