The Chinese mainland registered 14 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, all from overseas, the National Health Commission said on Saturday.
This is the 34th consecutive day without domestic transmissions on the Chinese mainland. No deaths from the disease were reported while eight patients were discharged from hospitals.
China's total number of confirmed cases stands at 85,269 and the death toll at 4,634, while 374 asymptomatic patients are under medical observation.
The total confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and the Taiwan region are as follows:
Hong Kong: 4,996 (4,696 recoveries, 103 deaths)
Macao: 46 (46 recoveries)
Taiwan: 503 (478 recoveries, 7 deaths)
