With over 300 chapters, The Epic of King Gesar is the longest folk tale in the world. It tells the thousand-year-old legend of King Gesar, who was known to vanquish the evils and help the poor.
The epic is still being performed by the residents of Tibet through a combination of chanting, storytelling and dancing.
