The Chinese mainland registered six new COVID-19 cases on Monday, all from overseas, the National Health Commission said on Tuesday.

This is the 37th consecutive day without domestic transmissions on the Chinese mainland. No deaths from the disease were reported while 13 patients were discharged from hospitals.

The total number of confirmed cases stands at 85,297 and the death toll at 4,634 on the Chinese mainland, while 391 asymptomatic patients are under medical observation.

The total confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and the Taiwan region are as follows:

Hong Kong: 5,038 (4,717 recoveries, 103 deaths)

Macao: 46 (46 recoveries)

Taiwan: 509 (479 recoveries, 7 deaths)
