U.S. Democratic Senate Leader Chuck Schumer on Monday called the republicans "craven" for their intent to put U.S. President Donald Trump's to-be-determined Supreme Court nominee to a vote on the Senate floor before the 2020 election. Trump said on Monday he is considering five women for his nomination for the U.S. Supreme Court seat left open by the recent death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, adding he will announce his pick on Saturday and he prefers the Senate vote to confirm the nominee before the November 3 election.
