Brazil's COVID-19 death toll surpassed 137,000 on Monday after 377 more patients died from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the previous 24 hours, raising the total number of fatalities to 137,272. According to the Ministry of Health, tests detected 13,439 new cases of infection in the same period, bringing the total caseload since the start of the outbreak to 4,558,068.

Chile's Ministry of Health on Monday reported 1,194 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in the past 24 hours, bringing the total caseload since the onset of the outbreak in the country to 447,468.

Israel: The total number of COVID-19 cases in Israel has reached 190,929, with 3,027 new cases, Israel's Ministry of Health said on Monday. The death toll reached 1,273 after 17 new fatalities were added, while the number of patients in serious condition increased from 643 to 653, out of 1,359 patients currently hospitalized.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday announced 679 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total confirmed cases in the country to 85,595. It also confirmed one more death, pushing the country's death toll to 405.

Turkey's daily COVID-19 cases increased by 1,743 on Monday, raising the total diagnosed patients to 304,610, the Turkish Health Ministry announced. Meanwhile, 68 people died in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 7,574.
