Russia to register second COVID-19 vaccine by October 15: reports

Russia is expected to register a second potential vaccine against COVID-19 by October 15, reported local media citing Russian consumer safety watchdog Rospotrebnadzor on Tuesday.

The vaccine was developed by Siberia's Vector Institute, which completed early-stage human trials of the vaccine last week.

In early September, Rospotrebnadzor stated that all volunteers for Stage 1 of clinical trials for the COVID-19 vaccine developed by Vektor had developed antibodies.
