The COVID-19 pandemic illustrates that economic globalization is an objective reality and irreversible historical trend, Chinese President Xi Jinping told the UN General Debate on Tuesday, before warning that "burying heads in the sand like an ostrich to ignore it, or waving a spear like Don Quixote to resist, goes against the laws of history."
