Beijing Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) was officially unveiled on Thursday morning at a special ceremony. 

The project was revealed earlier this month by Chinese President Xi Jinping when he addressed the Global Trade in Services Summit of the 2020 China International Fair for Trade.

The pilot FTZ which covers nearly 120 square kilometers consists of three sectors featuring technological innovation, International Business Service and high-end industry.
