Black-headed gulls arrive at Beijing lake on migration journey

A group of black-headed gulls have arrived at Yeya Lake of Beijing on their southward migration journey to wintering grounds.

The lake is a major stopover in northern China for migratory birds. 

The gull is expected to stay and rest for a few days, and in the meantime, regroup, before heading south.
