The Kizil Caves are a set of Buddhist rock-cut caves located near Kizil Township in Baicheng County, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is the earliest excavated large cave complex in China. CGTN's Zheng Yibing and the cave museum's curator together show three of the caves at the Kizil Caves scenic area, introducing the origin of the caves, the history of Buddhist culture as well as the significance of heritage conservation.
