Shanghai SIPG beat Beijing Guoan 1:0 with a penalty goal on Friday to secure the top spot of the Suzhou Division with one round remaining.

In the 39th minute, Hulk's free kick was blocked by Beijing Guoan's Li Ke. The referee called a penalty kick after checking with the VAR replays.

Hulk netted the penalty in the 44th minute, handing his team the victory.

With one round remaining, Shanghai SIPG have secured the top spot of the Suzhou Division while Beijing Guoan sat second.

The 13-round match also saw Chongqing Dangdai Lifan crush Shijiazhuang Yongchang FC 4:1 and Hebei China Fortune defeat Wuhan Zall 2:0.

The winners of both games have secured their spot in the next stage.
