As global Covid-19 cases go on a steep rise, scientists are racing to find an effective coronavirus vaccine. At present, some vaccine candidates have started phase 3 clinical trials, with China contributing to the frontrunners. But, to offer billions a safe and effective vaccine is a challenging task. CGTN host Tian Wei talked to world renowned virologist and immunologist Dr. Gao Fu, the director of Chinese Center for Disease Control & Prevention, for answers.
