Chinese mainland reports 15 new COVID-19 cases, all from overseas

The Chinese mainland registered 15 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, all from overseas, the National Health Commission said on Saturday.

This is the 41st consecutive day without domestic transmissions on the Chinese mainland. No deaths were reported while 14 patients were discharged from hospitals.

The total number of confirmed cases stands at 85,337 and the death toll at 4,634 on the Chinese mainland, while 400 asymptomatic patients are under medical observation.

The total confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and the Taiwan region are as follows:

Hong Kong: 5,058 (4,765 recoveries, 105 deaths)  

Macao: 46 (46 recoveries)  

Taiwan: 510 (480 recoveries, 7 deaths)
