Confirmed COVID-19 cases have exceeded 35 million globally, with over 1 million fatalities and more than 24.4 million recoveries, according to the latest tally from Johns Hopkins University.

As of Sunday, the Chinese mainland had recorded 85,470 cases, with 369 asymptomatic patients under medical observation. The death toll in China stands at 4,746, including 105 fatalities in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and seven in the Taiwan region.
The Chinese mainland on Sunday recorded 20 new cases, all from overseas. It is the 50th consecutive day that the Chinese mainland has reported no new domestically transmitted cases.
The U.S. has registered over 209,000 deaths and more than 7.4 million cases – both the highest in the world.
- President Donald Trump rode past supporters in his motorcade outside of Walter Reed Medical Center late Sunday afternoon and tweeted a video saying he is getting "great reports" from his doctors.
- Trump could be discharged from the hospital as early as Monday as he has "continued to improve" after treatment, a member of Trump's medical team said on Sunday.
Britain had 22,961 more people tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 502,978, according to official figures released on Sunday.
