The Chinese mainland registered 14 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, all from overseas, the National Health Commission said on Sunday.

This is the 42nd consecutive day without domestic transmissions on the Chinese mainland. No deaths were reported while 5 patients were discharged from hospitals.

The total number of confirmed cases stands at 85,351 and the death toll at 4,634 on the Chinese mainland, while 391 asymptomatic patients are under medical observation.

The total confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and the Taiwan region are as follows:

Hong Kong: 5,059 (4,777 recoveries, 105 deaths) 

Macao: 46 (46 recoveries) 

Taiwan: 510 (480 recoveries, 7 deaths)
