A team of 10 Chinese medical experts arrived in Lesotho's capital Maseru on Sunday afternoon to begin sharing experiences in fighting COVID-19.

Lesotho's Prime Minister Moeketsi Majoro welcomed the Chinese experts. He said the medical team will help elevate Lesotho's response to the pandemic.

During their time in Africa, which will also include a trip to Angola, the Chinese experts will visit hospitals and train local medical personnel. They will also give advice suitable for the situations in both Lesotho and Angola.

The team was put together by the National Health Commission and is comprised of experts from Hubei Province.
