The Golden Cudgel, located in the Flaming Mountain scenic area in Turpan, Xinjiang, is the world's largest thermometer. Completed on August 16, 2004, this three-dimensional thermometer, named "Jin Gu Bang," has entered the Guinness World Records. The giant thermometer has a diameter of 0.65 meters, a height of 12 meters, and a temperature display height of 5.4 meters. The surface temperature and air temperature within 100 degrees Celsius can be measured with an error of no more than plus or minus 0.5 degrees.
