Liang Qing, a Beijinger who used to work for a foreign company, started a "new" life in a Beijing suburb. She rented two century-old houses and turned them into modern homestays enclosed by diverse blossoms. In her garden, one can run into different flowers in different seasons. Now, clumps of pink bougainvillea and orange Chinese trumpet creepers are in full bloom in the gentle breeze.
