Chinese President Xi Jinping addressed a summit on biodiversity at the 75th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 75), which was held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Under the theme "urgent action on biodiversity for sustainable development," the summit provided an opportunity for attendees to suggest goals for the development of the post-2020 global biodiversity framework.
