Ulan Butong Grassland in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region puts on a golden coat as autumn falls. In Mongolian, "ulan butong" means "red jar-shaped mountain." The grassland, an imperial enclosure during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), is now home to abundant wildlife.
